I went to your clinic kicking and screaming and I couldn't
be happier that I went. As I am six weeks out from Ironman
New Zealand, I believed I had everything in
hand. I believed I needed another long training session
and going to your clinic would be jeopardizing my training.
The truth was quite the opposite. I have been mentally fatigued
for the past week and I needed a reality check. This is
exactly what I received.
To be honest, I am going to revamp my training plan for
the remaining few weeks I have left. In addition, I will
revise my training plan for my other A races
scheduled for later this year. To be honest, I was overwhelmed
with what I didn't know. I figured that my own experiences
would be enough of lesson.
As all topics discussed were of equal importance, the areas
I feel were most beneficial were Nutrition, Sports Psychology
and the open water practice. As it is January and I will
not have time to practice my open water swimming, this segment
of the clinic was very helpful. It also gave me an opportunity
to measure how I have improved. I am definitely a believer!
